Terms of use

BExchange is an independent tool built by a Bocconi student to help other students plan their exchange semester. It is not an official service of Bocconi University.

By using this site you agree that:

  • The site's content — including the selection, organization, and presentation of partner university data (requirements, rankings, city information, and every other dataset curated for this project) — is the result of original manual research and verification work, and is protected as such.
  • You may not extract, systematically copy, redistribute, or reuse the site's data (by any means, including automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools) to build a competing or derivative service, without explicit authorization.
  • The site is provided "as is", without any guarantee of absolute accuracy for the data shown (universities, requirements, rankings, cutoffs) — it is provided for informational purposes to help with your planning; always verify official information with Bocconi's International Relations Office before making final decisions.
  • The site's operator is not responsible for decisions made based on the information provided here.

Privacy and data

To use BExchange you create a profile associated with a personal access code (no email or password required for basic use). Your profile may contain: your degree program, the exam grades you enter, language certifications, and your exchange preferences (saved, compared, and applied-to universities). Adding a recovery email always stays optional, but strongly recommended: without it, losing your access code means losing access to your profile and all saved data forever. If you add one, we ask for your explicit consent to these Terms.

  • This data is used exclusively to calculate your eligibility and score against partner universities, and to show you your results — it is never shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
  • If you provide an email address (optional, used only to recover your access in case you lose your code), it is used only for that.
  • You can delete your profile and all associated data at any time from the Profile page.
  • Your access code is never stored in plain text in our database.
  • If, while adding your recovery email, you also choose to be notified when the official Bocconi 2027/2028 brochure comes out, you'll receive a single email for that purpose (expected February 2027) — this is an optional, separate consent, revocable at any time from the Profile page.
